Lies We Tell Ourselves

Lies We Tell Ourselves

I liked this book because it took place in a time period where people had very strongly opposing views of things. One thing I liked about it was that it went back and forth between the perspectives of two girls, Linda and Sarah. This book taught me a lot about that time period and helped me understand what people like Sarah had to go through during that time. I recommend it for older readers, because will be able to understand it better.

Let’s Get Lost

Let’s Get Lost

This book told the stories of 5 different people, and I really liked that. You could see how 4 of the character’s lives intertwined with the one main character. This has a very good meaning in the book and I think everyone should read it!

This book is very popular, which is why I decided to read it. This book was everything I expected and more. The plot was different than other books, and it was set in a different world. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger that just forces you to not put the book down. This book is definitely a must read.

The Tragedy Paper

The Tragedy Paper

This book was very good and had lots of meaning, however the central idea was very confusing. The main character gets caught up in the idea of tragedy, and there is no clear explanation as to why. What I liked about this book was that it told the stories of two different people, and how their lives intertwined. Overall, this was a good book but at the same time very hard to understand.

The Carnival at Bray

The Carnival at Bray

This book is good, but not outstanding. It is about a normal girl who is in high school, and has to move from Chicago to Ireland. As she goes through many hardships, she learns a lot, and I learned many lessons from it too. I would recommend this book to older readers as they can relate to the characters more.

This book was as good as I thought it would be and more. It had a great amount of action, suspense, and a great plot, which made it a great book in all. The main characters are in high school, so some of it is relatable as the setting takes place in a school. It is also very touching and teaches the reader about true friendship and what is right and wrong. I recommend this book for people of all ages, but I think older readers can relate to it more.

Nevermore (Maximum Ride #8)

Nevermore (Maximum Ride #8)

James Patterson

This book is the final book to the 8 book long Maximum Ride series. I had read the other books a couple years ago, and only recently found out the final one was out. This book is a great book, but only if you remember the other 7 books. If not, then you will be extremely confused and lost. The ending was also very confusing and not exactly very clear as to what happened. Overall, the book was good, but the ending was horrible.
