Truly Lovejoy is a six foot tall seventh grader, and it feels like her whole life is falling apart. Her father just lost an arm in the war in Afghanistan, and now Truly and her family are moving to the town where her father grew up–Pumpkin Falls, New Hampshire. Pumpkin Falls is the smallest town that Truly and her siblings have ever lived in. But when she finds a mysterious note in a copy of Charlotte’s Web at her family’s bookshop, things are about to get a lot more interesting down in tiny Pumpkin Falls, New Hampshire. I liked the characters in this book, especially Aunt True, Cha Cha, Jasmine, and Calhoun. I would recommend this book to people from ages 8-13.
