The Lost Twin (Scarlet and Ivy book 1)
4 out of 5
Ivy Gray’s twin sister Scarlet is dead. She died of a horrible sickness while at her boarding school, Rookwood Academy… Or at least, that’s what Ivy’s been told. When one of the teachers from Scarlet’s school comes to Ivy’s house to tell her she has a place at the academy, Ivy is surprised. Then she finds out– she has to pretend to be her sister. From now on, Ivy’s name is Scarlet Gray. And Scarlet has left pieces of her diary hidden around Rookwood Academy as clues for Ivy to find. But what really happened to Ivy’s twin? And can she find out? I liked that this book was a mystery, and I liked that the characters who didn’t like each other became friends in the end. I would recommend this book to girls from ages 8 to 13.
