Little Women and Me

Little Women and Me

Lauren Baratz-Logsted

3 out of 5

Emily March is a girl, and a sister. The middle sister. A school project requires her to pick a book and say what you would change about it. Emily chooses “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott, but somehow finds herself in the story. No one, meaning the little women, can remember what Emily did in her past years. Emily knows she has to change the story, but soon she finds herself older than she used to be. The family in the story “Little Women” still think Emily has always been there. Will the middle sister, in both worlds, always be in the 1800’s? Or will “The Middle March” work things out?
